Teacher From Florham Park Sentenced For Child Pornography
Colin Skeele, 33, sent a pornographic image of a boy to a minor who went to a summer camp he worked at, authorities said.
FLORHAM PARK, NJ — A Florham Park man who was a summer camp counselor and teacher was sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in producing child pornography, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.
U.S. District Judge Susan D. Wigenton imposed the sentenced on Colin M. Skeele, 33, in Newark federal court Tuesday. Skeele previously pleaded guilty to one count of producing child pornography, Carpenito said.
Skeele was a counselor at a boys' summer camp in Hardwick and a teacher at a Boonton parochial school. In 2011, he became Facebook friends with a boy he met while working as a counselor. Skeele offered to pay the boy money to have him take sexually explicit pictures of himself and send them to him, Carpenito said.

One time, Skeele paid the boy about $100 to send nude pictures of himself; Skeele later sent at least one pornographic image of that boy to another minor who had attended the camp, Carpenito said.
Also, on several times between 2012 and 2014, Skeele communicated online with people in the Philippines to purchase live child sexual abuse shows online, which Skeele viewed as they happened, Carpenito said.
