Whippany Park 38th, Hanover Park 57th in State, NJ Monthly Says
Hanover Park surges up 39 spots since magazine's rankings last released in 2010.
Whippany Park High School was ranked 38th and Hanover Park High School was ranked 57th out of the 328 state public high schools listed by New Jersey Monthly magazine this year.
Two years ago, when the rankings were last released, Hanover Park was ranked No. 96, improving 39 spots this year.
Whippany Park stayed around the same from 2010, ranking four spots higher this year.

NJ Monthly uses information from the state Department of Education to develop its rankings, which only takes into account public schools in the state. Student performance and student outcomes were the most heavily weighted to determine the rankings, followed by school environment.
New Providence High School, in Union County, was ranked No. 1. Kinnelon High School was the top performer from Morris County, according to the publication, coming in at No. 5. Montville and Arthur L. Johnson were listed right after Whippany Park at 39th and 40th, respectively. The schools right behind Hanover Park are Westwood and Princeton, ranked 58th and 59th, respectively.
