EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — The 130 Farmer’s Market has reopened under new ownership in East Windsor. Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Council Members Perry Shapiro and John Zoller, joined new owners Myong and Koo You, store manager David Oh and staff members, for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the re-opening of the 130 Farmer’s Market in the Towne Center Shopping Center on Route 130 South.

The 130 Farmer’s Market re-opened under new ownership and occupies the entire vacant 9,520 square foot retail space next to M&T Bank. It is open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.

The new owners, Myong and Koo You, have experience as the operators of the Route 9 Farmer’s Market located in Old Bridge. The You family came to the United States from South Korea in the late 1980s and worked in retail grocery then opened in 2011 their new store, the Route 9 Farmer’s Market.

This new second location in East Windsor features farm fresh and organic produce, an expanded delicatessen section, flowers, and other canned and packaged foods.

“There has been a tremendous amount of excitement within the community since residents learned the Farmer’s Market in East Windsor would be re-opened under new ownership,” Mironov said. “We enthusiastically welcome new owners Myong and Koo You, as they re-open a local popular market offering a wide variety of fresh vegetables and fruits and other food products. Their decision to re-open in East Windsor is a further demonstrated sign of the attractiveness of the vibrant Route 130 business corridor.”
