The New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers awarded Carmela Roberts, of Roberts Engineering Group, third place for the Project of the Year award, according to a news release.
Roberts, who serves as Hightstown's engineer, won for her work with the Stockton Street Historic District Infrastructure project, the release said. Consultant engineers who designed projects for a municipality with a population under 20,000 could enter.
"Congratulations Carmela and thank you for another great project in Hightstown," the release said.
