Mironov Elected First Vice President of the State League of Municipalities

East Windsor Mayor Janice Mironov was elected as First Vice President of the New Jersey State League of Municipalities, according to a news release.

Mironov, who has served as mayor for the past 16 years, will represent local elected officials to county, state and federal governments, the release said.

She currently serves on the Committee Township Economic Development committee, the Clean Communities Advisory committee, the East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Drug Abuse and New Jersey Highway Traffic Safety Policy Advisory Committee. Mironov is also a member of the East Windsor Green Space Inc. and Board Member of NJ Shares.

There are 566 municipal governments in New Jersey, according to the release.
