Congratulations, Hayden Bandel, Hightstown Class Of 2021

Before this year's seniors head on to that next step in their lives, we want to take a moment to let their stars shine here on Patch.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — The high school seniors of 2021 have had an experience like no other in a century — a year upended by a pandemic and by lockdowns that kept them from enjoying many of the activities that previous seniors have taken for granted.

Patch hopes to help make it up to those seniors by giving them a special sendoff. We asked parents and other family members to pay tribute to this year’s grads using a special submission form so we can publish those tributes one by one.

Hayden Bandel will graduate from Hightstown.

Plans after graduation: Temple University, Kline school of Communication

Accomplishments: Hayden has always loved baseball. He started playing T-ball at the age of 4 and always loved playing on the EW PAL teams as well as HEWBYL, Now that he is older he’s an umpire for these teams and loves watching the younger kids play. He currently plays on for the hightstown varsity baseball team. He’s very involved at the synagogue in his Community , Congregation Toras Emes. He does the Shabbat service at Bear Creek assisted living every Friday since he was 13. He has been involved with JFCS and their philanthropy program. He helped film and produce segments for the East Windsor spotlight. He loved sports and is a true fan fanatic for the NY Mets, NY Giants, Brooklyn Nets and NJ Devils. He’s always had the desire and ambition to pursue a career in sports broadcasting. He’s excited to be following his dreams.
