Cranbury Township Committee Meets Monday

Here is a look at what is going on this week in East Windsor, Hightstown, and Cranbury.

Government

East Windsor

The East Windsor Township Council is meeting at the East Windsor Municipal Building at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The new police officers of the East Windsor Police Department will be administered their oath of office at the meeting. 

Hightstown

  • The Hightstown Borough Council is meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. This meeting was rescheduled from last Tuesday, when the meeting was cancelled because of inclement weather. 
  • The Hightstown Environmental Commission is meeting at the Housing Authority at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Cranbury

  • The Cranbury Township Committee is meeting in the Cranbury Town Hall meeting room at 7 p.m. on Monday. 
  • The Cranbury Environmental Commission is meeting in Cranbury Town Hall at 7 p.m. on Monday.
  • The Cranbury Zoning Board is meeting in Cranbury Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. 
  • The Cranbury Planning Board is meeting in Cranbury Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
  • The Cranbury Shade Tree Commission is meeting in Cranbury Town Hall at 11 a.m. on Thursday.  

Schools

The East Windsor Regional School District Board of Education is meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The meeting will take place in the cafeteria of Hightstown High School.

Melvin H. Kreps Middle School will be presenting “Alice and Wonderland, Jr.”  this week. The musical premieres at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. There will also be a show on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 3 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. 

Pet and Animal Story Time

The Hightstown Animal Welfare Committee will be at Hightstown Memorial Library on Tuesday to a “Pet and Animal Story Time”. They will be offering animal safety tips and telling fun stories about pets. This free event is open to all ages and no registration is required. The story time will begin at 7 p.m.
