CVS Adds New COVID Testing Site In East Windsor

Tests will be available at no cost to individuals who meet the CDC criteria.

EAST WINDSOR — Anticipating a potential second wave, CVS Health announced Thursday it was adding more new COVID-19 drive-thru sites at select pharmacy locations across the country.

One of the sites is in East Windsor.

“Since opening our first test site in March, we’ve been able to quickly adapt to the changing landscape in order to make it easier for people in the communities we serve to access testing,” Jon Roberts, Chief Operating Officer, CVS Health and acting President, CVS Pharmacy said in a statement.

“We recognize the critical role testing plays in helping to manage the spread of the virus and are incredibly proud of how our teams have responded to this need while continuing to take care of our customers, clients and patients,” he said.

Tests will be available at no cost to individuals who meet the CDC criteria. Patients must register in advance to schedule an appointment.

In case of a minor patient, a parent or guardian must complete the online registration form and accompany the patient.

At the testing site, patients need to follow signage, or any instructions provided by the staff. Patients will be directed to stay in their cars and provided with a test kit and instructions.

Currently test results are available in two to three days.
