Drug Take Back Event In East Windsor April 27
The event will give East Windsor residents the chance to dispose of unneeded and expired prescription drugs.
EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ - East Windsor police will host an Operation Take Back NJ drug collection event on Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents can bring their unused or expired medications to the drop box in the lobby of the police/court building, 80 One Mile Road.
The event will give East Windsor residents the chance to dispose of unneeded and expired prescription drugs. The goal is to help local residents to rid their medicine cabinets of unused and easily abused opioid painkillers, in addition to any other unneeded prescription medications.
It is part of the New Jersey Division of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) sponsored program “Operation Medicine Cabinet” program.

Anyone who can't make it to the drug take back day event can drop off their unneeded and expired medications any time at the East Windsor Police Department's drug drop box. It is open 24 hours a day, and was obtained by township officials from The American Medicine Chest Challenge.
