"The purpose of this cleanup is to remove litter from our local watershed streams, to assist in keeping our water sources clean and providing for a cleaner and more environmentally healthy stream,” said Mironov.
Residents interested in participating must pre-register by April 16. To ensure compliance with health guidelines, only 25 people per available time slot will be permitted.
Masks are mandatory, and temperature checks will be performed upon arrival.
Hand sanitizer will be available, but the township recommends that participants bring their own in order to maintain a safe distance between groups and staff.
Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes and long pants and bring work gloves and a reusable water bottle.
Trash bags will be provided and adults must accompany minors.
