East Windsor To Host Additional Document Shredding Event, May 1

The event was added due to the overwhelming response to the April 17 shredding event.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — East Windsor will be is holding an additional document shredding event, on May 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until the truck reaches capacity.

This event was added due to the overwhelming response to the April 17 shredding event where residents were turned away when the shredding truck was loaded to capacity before the posted 2 p.m. deadline.

The event will be held at the East Windsor Township Senior Center, located at 40 Lanning Boulevard.

There is a limit of ten boxes per household, and the service is for East Windsor residents only. No commercial entities are allowed to participate in the shredding event.

Residents must remain in their cars at all times and have their driver’s license to display through the window.

On reaching the drop-off point, municipality staff will remove the items from the unlocked trunk and/or doors. Residents must wear masks at the time of drop-off.
