East Windsor Man Charged in $12K Jewelry Heist

East Windsor police allege that 21-year-old Bryan Langere stole the jewelry from a home on Jamestown Road and later sold the stolen property at a local cash-for-gold business.

An East Windsor man was arrested recently on charges alleging he stole $12,000 worth of jewelry and later sold the stolen property at a local cash-for-gold business.

East Windsor police allege that the suspect, Bryan Langere, 21, of Jamestown Road, took the jewelry from a Jamestown Road residence between 9 a.m. on Jan. 27 and 10:30 a.m. on March 4.

Police did not disclose whether the alleged theft took place at Langere’s own home or at a neighbor’s residence.

The owner of the stolen jewelry, upon discovering the theft, started to check local jewelry establishments and soon found her stolen property at the Gold Exchange store on Route 130, police said.

Langere was then identified as a suspect in the theft and later located and arrested at a residence in Barnegat, police said, noting that Langere was charged by Officer Joseph Iannone with theft and receiving stolen property.
