East Windsor Mayor, Council Members To Be Sworn In Wednesday

East Windsor's reorganization meeting will take place at 2 p.m. on New Year's Day.

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — East Windsor Mayor Janice S. Mironov will be sworn into office following her re-election victory in November on New Year’s Day.

Mironov, Deputy Mayor Marc Lippman and Council Members Peter Yeager and John Zoller will all be sworn in during the reorganization meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2 p.m. at the East Windsor Senior Center, 40 Lanning Boulevard.

They won re-election in November when the Democrats defeated Republicans Paul K. Hummel Jr., Vincent Stottlmyer, Anne Lustenberg and Steven Uccio.

Council will be making appointments to Township Boards and Committees, including the Clean Communities Advisory Committee, Commission on Aging, Economic Development Committee, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Board, Planning Board, Recreation Commission, and Zoning Board of Adjustment. There will also be various recognitions at the meeting.

“We welcome the public to join us at the reorganization meeting in fellowship and as a great way to launch the New Year,” Mironov said. “A reception and light refreshments will immediately follow the meeting.”
