East Windsor Thanks Local Resident During National Volunteer Week
Ronald Balint was recognized for his "outstanding service and accomplishments" to the township during National Volunteer Week.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ – For National Volunteer Week (April 18-24) Mayor Janice Mironov recognized longtime East Windsor resident Ronald Balint for his “outstanding service and accomplishments.”
Balint is the Chairperson of the Township Environmental Commission and Chairperson of the East Windsor Green Team.
Mayor Mironov’s Proclamation states, that “as Chairperson of the Environmental Commission, Ronald Balint has been a dedicated and valuable caring leader for the local environment, and has contributed to numerous Township initiatives and events, including initiating and executing the Etra Park Arboretum project, organizing and carrying out the annual Arbor Day Tree Tubeling Giveaway, and maintaining the Township Community Forestry Management Plan.”

Mironov said Balint was “an exceptional asset” to the township and the community. It was due to his “organizational skills and tireless efforts,” that East Windsor earned Bronze Level Certification in 2012, and Silver Level Certification in 2015 and 2018, and is currently in the process of finalizing the 2021 filing to renew the Township Silver Level Certification, said Mironov.
The township observes National Volunteer Week each year.

Councilmember John Zoller also thanked Balint for his “extraordinary efforts,” for “moving the Township forward toward achieving our goals”
