East Windsor Wants Residents To Volunteer On Committees, Boards

Residents can apply for a seat on various township committees and boards. Appointments will be made in January.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — The East Windsor Town Council is encouraging residents to volunteer for appointment to the various township boards and committees.

Mayor Janic Mironov and council members will be making appointments at the January reorganization meeting. Additionally, appointments will be made throughout the year, when the opportunity rises.

“Our government operates best when volunteers offer input and advice on our operations and projects,” Mironov said in a statement. “Public participation provides mutual benefits for residents and elected officials, and hopefully stimulates citizens to have a greater interest in and understanding of the role of local government,” she said.
