East Windsor's 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled
East Windsor's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.
EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including East Windsor.
East Windsor Township's Independence Day Celebration, originally scheduled for July 2 at Etra Lake Park has been canceled, township officials announced.
"We understand everyone’s disappointment with not being able to come together as a community to celebrate our nation’s independence at our annual fireworks event," officials said. "However, we wanted to identify ways that our community could stand up and recognize and honor the importance of our nation's birthday."
