Gyro King & Grill Opens In East Windsor

The eatery located at Town Center Plaza on Route 130, offers Pakistani and Mediterranean cuisine.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — Mayor Janice Mironov recently joined owner Aslan Khan for the grand opening of Gyro King & Grill, in East Windsor.

The new eatery opened at Town Center Plaza, on Route 130 North.

Gyro King & Grill opened their first location in South Brunswick in April 2019. The restaurant, located next to the Shoprite, offers dine-in, takeout service and delivery.

Mironov said the township was “excited” to welcome the new eatery.

"Their decision to expand and open this second location in East Windsor demonstrates a strong commitment to the economic vitality of the area,” said Mironov.

“We are pleased that they have chosen to open especially at a time when restaurants particularly have been challenged by the ongoing pandemic.”

Also present were Council members Peter Yeager, Denise Daniels, Alan Rosenberg and John Zoller.

The family-owned eatery offers a variety of Pakistani and Mediterranean cuisine, like gyros, shawarma, falafel, kebabs, tandoori, and wraps.

Current hours of Gyro King & Grill are Monday through Wednesday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
