Hightstown-East Windsor Memorial Day Parade Set For Monday

Township offices will be closed, and there will be no garbage collection.

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Hightstown-East Windsor Memorial Day Parade steps off at 9 a.m. on Stockton Street on Monday, May 29. It will proceed through the center of Hightstown.

The annual community event will feature many local groups including veterans associations, rescue squads and fire companies, school musical groups, scout organizations, religious organizations, and other area participants.

After the parade, refreshments will be served at VFW Post 5700 on Dutch Neck Road. Additionally, township offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, in observance of the holiday.

There will also be no garbage collection that day. Garbage Collection for Area #1 residents, normally on Monday, May 29, will be on the next scheduled collection date of Thursday, June 1. For public works schedules, click here.
