Hightstown High School Announces Hall Of Fame Class

A Hall of Fame luncheon will take place on Oct. 4, with the induction to take place at the football game that night.

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — Hightstown High School has announced its inductees for this year’s Hightstown High School Athletic Hall of Fame. The inductees will be honored during a celebration luncheon at the Holiday Inn, 399 Monmouth Street in East Windsor, 11 a.m.

The induction will be held during halftime of the football between Hightstown and West Windsor at 7 p.m. There will be door prizes with all proceeds going to the Hall of Fame scholarships given each year in June to graduating seniors.

The 1977 Hightstown High School football team will be inducted as part of the school’s 26th Athletic Hall of Fame Class. So will the following individuals:
  • Jay Hackworth – Coach
  • Dave Smith – ’89 Ice Hockey
  • Osama Adelwahab – ’96 baseball
  • Jeremy Klapper – ’01 Cross Country
  • Amanda Marshall – ’05 Track
  • Jeff Butler – ’05 Baseball

Tickets for the luncheon are $40 per person. Reservations can be made by calling Jim Peto at 609-443-7738 ext. 1156 or 1157. Anyone who wants to sponsor an athlete should also contact Peto. Sponsorships are $40 a ticket.
