Learn About Nature at Mercer County's Fall Nature Camp

The Mercer County Park Commission will host a Fall Mini Nature Camp at Baldpate Mountain during fall break in early November.

The two-day camp for children in grades 3-5 will take place Nov. 5 and 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Ted Stiles Preserve at Baldpate Mountain in Hopewell Township.

It is a condensed autumn edition of the popular Baldpate Nature Camp offered every summer. Fall Mini Nature Camp is led by the Park Commission’s Naturalist staff.

Hands-on nature exploration, science experiments, hikes through the forest, unstructured nature play and games create the foundation of the camp day.

Parents may register their children for either one day at $55 or both days at $100. Registration is required and a limited number of spots are available.
