This month, preschoolers and families at The Learning Experience in East Windsor collected and donated coats, shoes, and toys to over 50 children through the NJ Rise holiday gift drive.

"There is something magical about the holiday season," said Sapna Gahlot, owner of The Learning Experience in East Windsor. "This month, our children not only learned to say and sign the word 'Give,' but they also experienced the magic of giving by participating in a holiday gift drive for children of our community. They helped fulfill the wishes of over 50 children by giving gifts and brightening up their holidays."

The recent donation was part of The Learning Experience's commitment to teaching children lifelong lessons, such as philanthropy, through its curriculum.

The philanthropy curriculum introduces children to a pair of fun-loving characters, Grace the Greyhound and Charity Chihuahua, who teach them the value and application of giving back and helping others in class, at home, and in their communities. Monthly philanthropic and fundraising events are also held to help children understand what it means to give, share, and donate.
