Man Allegedly Steals 7 Cell Phones from East Windsor Walmart

This was the second Walmart shoplifting within the week.

Brown Mills resident Jeffrey Lawton, 28, was charged by East Windsor Police on July 10 for allegedly stealing seven prepaid cellular telephones from Walmart.

All seven prepaid phones are valued at $1,859.16, according to police. Lawton was arrested by police and charged with shoplifting.

The store has been a recent target for theft as just three days earlier, police arrested a New Egypt woman for stealing various items valued at about $200 and placing them in her purse.
