Man Allegedly Threatens Coworker with Machete in East Windsor
The suspect, 52-year-old Luis Velasquez of Newark, was charged with weapon offenses and making terroristic threats for his alleged actions at Diversified Rack on Route 130 on Feb. 26, according to East Windsor police.

Luis Velasquez, 52, of Newark, was arrested about 11:20 a.m. on Feb. 26 and charged with weapon offenses and making terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened a coworker with a machete, according to East Windsor Police.
The incident occurred at Diversified Rack and Shelving on Route 130. Police said their investigation revealed that Velasquez and the coworker became involved in a “physical altercation.”
During that fight, Velasquez ”retrieved a machete from his vehicle and confronted the victim with it raised in his hand, stating that he would kill the victim,” police said in a news release.

Velasquez was released after posted $10,000 bail, with further court action pending.
