Openings On East Windsor Boards And Committees

Residents are encouraged to apply to participate in their local government.

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — There are various openings on boards and committees throughout East Windsor Township, officials announced on Monday. The Mayor and Council make appointments at the January reorganization meeting, as well as throughout the year as opportunities occur.

There are openings on the Clean Communities Advisory Committee, Commission on Aging, East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse, East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority, Economic Development Committee, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Board, Local Assistance Board, Planning Board, Recreation Commission, and Zoning Board of Adjustment.

“We encourage residents to become a contributing part of their government by volunteering to serve on a Township board or committee,” East Windsor Mayor Janice S. Mironov said. “Our government operates best when volunteers offer input and advice on our operations and projects. Public participation provides mutual benefits for residents and elected officials, and hopefully stimulates citizens to have a greater interest in and understanding of the role of local government.”
