1 Person Killed In Accident On Route 130 In East Windsor: Police
One person was killed when an oil delivery truck and a Nissan Maxima collided on Route 130 Thursday afternoon.
EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — One person was killed when an oil delivery truck and a Nissan Maxima collided on Route 130 in East Windsor Thursday afternoon, police announced.
The accident occurred on Route 130 north near the intersection with Hickory Corner Road, the East Windsor Police Department said.
The 2004 Nissan Maxima was traveling north on Route 130, north of Hickory Corner Road when it crashed into the 2015 International Oil delivery truck, police said.

The driver of the Nissan was pronounced deceased on the scene by medical personnel, police said. The driver of the oil delivery truck was not injured. The victim was not identified by police Thursday afternoon.
Route 130 was closed between Hickory Corner Road and Maple Stream Road while police conducted their investigation. A video shared by a driver with East Windsor Patch showed a line of cars on Route 130 being directed to turn around by police shortly after the accident was announced.

In addition to the East Windsor Police Department, responding agencies included the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, the East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, the East Windsor Rescue Squad No. 2, Robert Wood Johnson EMS, Capital Health EMS Paramedics and the Hightstown Volunteer Fire Company.
