S'mores Ice Cream, Farmer's Markets, Rock Show at Tavern on the Lake

1. Weather: Today will be partly sunny with a high temperature around 84 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The low temperature tonight will be around 65 and the skies will be partly cloudy. 

2. Farmer’s Markets: The Cranbury Farmer’s market is being held today from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the grass common area of Park Place West. The Hightstown Farmer’s Market  will take place between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the parking lot next to Tavern on the Lake. 

3. Library: The Hightstown Library is holding a fun afternoon of stories from Mr. Malcolm as a part of their “Dig into Summer Reading” series on Friday at 2 p.m. Mr. Malcolm Presents Snow White and Bob the Builder is for children two-years-old and older. Space is limited for this program, so please register in person or by contacting the library at 609-448-1474. 

4. Ice Cream Flavor: Gil & Bert’s Ice Cream in Cranbury announced this week that they have a new flavor called “Give Me S’more”. Toasted marshmallow is swirled into graham cracker ice cream with mini melt chocolate pieces! Stop by to grab the perfect summer treat after dinner tonight. 

5. Entertainment: Tonight the hard-charging rock band Warhammer will be playing at Tavern on the Lake in Hightstown tonight at 9 p.m.
