Susan Goetz Named Cranbury Township Mayor for 2014

Democrat Susan Goetz is Cranbury Township’s new mayor for 2014. Goetz was nominated by Committeeman Jay Taylor and the nomination was seconded by Committeeman Dave Cook at the Cranbury reorganization meeting last Thursday. The Cranbury Township Committee has five members who each hold three year terms and each year the committee nominates a mayor for a one year term. 

Mulligan, a Republican, regained his seat on the committee in the November election and was sworn into office with Democrat Glenn Johnson, the mayor of the township for 2013, who also regained his seat on the committee.
