Weekend Guide: Total Soul Concert, Summer Scrap-A-Rama

Check out what is going on in East Windsor, Hightstown, and Cranbury this weekend.

Summer Concert Series

Total Soul will be jamming at 6 p.m. this Saturday at Etra Lake Park as a part of East Windsor’s Summer Concert Series. Total Soul plays a variety of music ranging from motion, pop, R&B, jazz and big band music. The 8-piece band performs with the flair of a well-rehearsed show band, complete with front line choreography, exciting lead singers, horns and a rhythm section. Summer Scrap-A-Rama

St. David's Church in Cranbury is holding a "Summer Scrap-A-Rama" this Saturday. There will be 13 hours of scrapbooking, meals, snacks and vendors in a relaxing environment. Doors open at 8a.m. and guests can scrapbook until 9 p.m. There will be food, music, prizes and a special summer cocktail. For more information, please contact Tdtouhey@me.com. Hurricane Preparedness Workshop

The East Windsor Home Depot, located on Route 33, is holding a Hurricane Preparedness workshop on Saturday from 10 a.m to 11:30 a.m. Register online for the class here.

The K’Nex Robotics Workshop at the Hightstown Library, originally scheduled for this Saturday, has been postponed until Aug. 10. This workshop is for children between the ages of nine and sixteen; registration is required.
