You Can Now Plant A Memorial Tree In East Windsor. Here’s How
Under the Township Memorial Tree Grove Program, residents can plant trees in remembrance or commemoration of a "person, group or event."
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — To honor Arbor Day celebrated on April 30, East Windsor Township is encouraging residents to plant a tree under the Township Memorial Tree Grove Program.
Mayor Janice S. Mironov said the program offers residents an opportunity to provide a living memorial to a deceased relative or friend or “in remembrance or commemoration of a special person, group or event.”
“The planting of a tree provides a special means to provide a living memorial to a deceased person or in honor of a special event while enhancing the environment of our community” said Mironov.
