Broken Englewood Library Steps to be Repaired

Work should start later this month.

The busted front steps of the Englewood Public Library will soon be repaired, according to city officials.

Appearing at the Englewood City Council meeting on June 11, City Engineer Ken Albert said repairs are expected to begin at the end of June and last about three weeks. The repairs will not impact the library's day-to-day operations, he said.

According to Albert, the foundations and underlying structures of the steps will be saved. The defective parts will be rebuilt with a coating system added for uniformity to create uniformity. Costs projections aren't in yet, but Albert expects it won't be costly.
