TENAFLY, NJ - Christie’s International Real Estate Northern New Jersey, an exclusive partner of Christie’s International Real Estate, voted Christie’s Affiliate of the Year in 2017 and 2018, and the fastest growing real estate brokerage in northern New Jersey, announced that 99 E Clinton is currently listed for sale by Realtor® Associate Ravit Advocat of the Closter Office. This custom-built work of art was meticulously designed by the owner and distinguished architect, Ronny Piotraut.
An architectural jewel built with one central concept of “togetherness”, 99 E Clinton is located on the east hill of Tenafly, only minutes from Manhattan and very close to Tenafly's lavish downtown area. This unique home is situated on 0.84 acres of property and offers approximately 6,500 sqft of single level living where one will find the ultimate privacy and contemporary sophistication. Ronny has lived and breathed architecture since she could ever remember, stating “it was in my soul since I was a child.”

Ronny was born and raised in Israel, and later moved to the United States to complete her studies in Architecture at the Pratt Institute in 2002. She launched her career in architecture as a Project Manager for Scarano Architects and completed various projects for her husband’s NYC-based firm, MyHome Design & Remodeling, which is currently still operating successfully. In 2008, Ronny decided to relocate from NYC to New Jersey for her 3 children, where she bought 99 E Clinton Avenue – an older home in Tenafly that she later converted into a modern work of art. Tenafly was the ideal suburban town for her that offered privacy, close proximity to her job in NYC, and had an acclaimed school system for her children. She wanted to create a space that was comfortable for both children and adults, and that is precisely what she did with 99 E Clinton. Ronny moved back to Israel, where she is now the CEO of her company, Meraki Architecture. “I decided to name my company Meraki because it comes from a Greek word meaning to do something with soul, creativity and love, which is something I take pride in doing with all my work.”
Ronny’s true passion for architecture is evident in her breathtaking, intricately designed home and her other renowned projects such as The Toy Factory Lofts in Brooklyn, 52 East 4th Street located off of Bowery in the heart of East Village, and one her favorites, the Montessori Israel School, where she bridged her love for education with her love for architecture. Each and every detail in all of Ronny’s designs is done with intent and purpose, keeping both aesthetics and function in mind.

“My design was inspired by my value for emotional openness. I wanted to create a home where everyone was together at all times, and have every facet cohesively surrounding one central opening area. I incorporated that emotional openness with the large, modern Bay windows because I wanted to bring the outside indoors – especially during colder times of the year when I had to stay inside,” said Ronny. She added, “I added a large dining table to accommodate many guests, designed floating walls to give a feeling of openness and lightness, and increased insulation in the walls to keep noise from the house inside and noise from the street outside.” It is impossible to overlook this home as it really stands out from the surrounding traditional homes. Ronny likens this uniqueness to the Guggenheim’s monument to modernism.
This state-of-the-art home juxtaposes sophistication and simplicity, demonstrating purpose behind every detail throughout. While the design is intricately thought out, it exudes a collective feeling of openness, lightness, and cleanness. Located only 13 miles from NYC, this modern work of art is an architecture enthusiast’s dream that checks off all the boxes – privacy, functionality, beauty, and convenience.
