Dogs, Bicycles Now Allowed in Englewood Cliffs Parks

Bicyclists and dogs were common sights, leading the borough council to approve an ordinance permitting their presence.

Your dogs and your bicycles are now officially welcomed in Englewood Cliffs' largest municipal green space, according to a recent report.

The borough council voted unanimously to allow both pets and bicycles on Witte Field and Johnson Park, according to a report on northjersey.com.

Dogs must be on paved pathways, be leashed and walked by a person 18 or older (or with an accompanying adult), the report stated. Similarly, bicyclists must ride in fitness and walking paths.
