Please be advised the East Hanover Health Department has informed us that since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, East Hanover has had 501 confirmed cases. That is an increase of 29 new cases since last week. Of the 29 new cases 2 are hospitalized and 27 are home quarantined. We ask that you pray for those who have the virus and to pray for those families that have lost their loved ones.

Of the 501 cases, 450 cases are closed meaning that all appropriate protocols were taken; the isolation period is over and completed according to the NJ State Department of Health guidelines. Sadly, we report that there have been 22 fatalities in East Hanover due to the coronavirus since the beginning of the Pandemic. I appeal to all of you to take this corona virus seriously. It is spreading throughout our area.

We thank you for continuing to patronize our local businesses. I would also like to thank all our first responders.

We remind you and encourage you to continue to practice safe social distancing and we strongly suggest the wearing of a mask.
