Mario Kranjac Receives Most Votes For Englewood Cliffs Mayor

There were several local races in Englewood and Englewood Cliffs this year.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — Results for the 2019 Englewood and Englewood Cliffs municipal elections are in.

There were several races in Englewood and Englewood Cliffs this year: For three, three-year terms on the Englewood Board of Education, the Fourth Ward representative on the Englewood City Council, Englewood Cliffs mayor, two spots on the Englewood Cliffs council, and a spot on the Englewood Cliffs Board of Education.

The four Englewood education candidates who ran were: Samuel E. Trusty, Suzanne Mullings, William Feinstein, and Angela David. Those results were:

Mullings: 1,407
Trusty: 1,400

Feinstein: 1,241
David: 1,287

Regarding the Englewood Fourth Ward council candidates, Hamer received 583 votes to Whilby's 389.

In Englewood Cliffs, Mario Kranjac received 894 votes in the mayor's race, while Edward Aversa received 703 votes.

In the Englewood Cliffs council race, Republicans Ramon Ferro and William Woo received 877 and 931 votes, respectively, to Glen Luciano's 671 and Jack Chan's 679. Luciano and Chan are Democrats.

In the Englewood Cliffs Board of Education election, Susan Pak received 519 votes and Kevin Liau received 378 votes.
