ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ — Unilever has been named among the best United States companies for working moms, according to a new ranking by Working Mother magazine.
Unilever was named a top 10 company by Working Mother for the fifth consecutive year.
The company offers up to 16 weeks of maternity leave and debuted breast-milk shipping last year.

Moms on average get 12 weeks of paid leave. Dads and adoptive parents get four on average.
Unilever offers on-site vaccinations and backup childcare and subsidizes it.

Nearly half of Unilever's 10,000 employees are women and almost the same number telecommute. Nearly half of the company's managers and executives and the number of new hires are women.
Seven New Jersey companies were named to the list and four, Johnson & Johnson, Zoetis, Prudential Financial and Unilever, were named to the top 10.
