Englewood, Englewood Cliffs Readying for Back to School

It's the last full week of the summer as Back to School is almost here.

The Englewood Board of Education will hold a special public meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 27. As per the agenda on the district's site the Board will approve replacement and new staff members of the new school year. Click here for full agenda. 

Englewood public schools start Friday, Sept. 6.

New teacher orientation will be held this week for Englewood Cliffs public schools. The first day of school in the district is Monday, Sept. 9. Click here to access the district's calendar. 

Also this week:

• The Englewood Downtown Summer Concert Series concludes this week with a performance by The Great Fraud, a blues/funk band on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m. 
• Englewood City Council will meet Tuesday, Aug. 27. at 7:30 p.m. 
• The Englewood Board of Adjustment meeting scheduled for Monday, Aug. 26 has been cancelled as per the city's website.
