Englewood Outdoor Dining Guide: Here's Where To Eat

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — Looking for the best restaurants in Englewood to enjoy a good meal outside? Luckily there are plenty of options, whether it's a casual dinner for two, brunch with the family or just a quick bite by yourself.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, outdoor dining has been expanding — even during the colder months. Many eateries got creative during the winter, setting up indoor dining tents and even igloos.

But the days of needing shelter from the cold are waning, setting up the chance for even more opportunities to eat al fresco in the coming months.

Here are some spots for outdoor dining in Englewood.

Sofia, 36 Engle Street, 201-541-8530: Located in the center of town, this Italian steakhouse offers a selection of dry-aged USDA prime steak and modern Italian dishes. The courtyard with about 20 seat capacity is open for diner, but for lunch only the smaller front sidewalk is available. Alternatively, there's always the option of visiting the speakeasy-style cigar lounge.

Bennies, 54 E Palisade Ave, 201-894-5700: With its Mediterranean style cuisine, you can find dishes like the shwarma wrap and the feta cheese mint salad at Bennies. Outdoor seating is available with around 20 seat capacity.

Patisserie Florentine, 10 s dean street, 201-408-4890: You can enjoy a morning croissant and a cappuccino or sit down for a light lunch at this french-style patisserie. There are three tables available outside.

U Pie Company Pizza and Seafood Bar, 120 Grand Ave, 201-567-1888: Whether in the mood for seafood or pizza, there's plenty of options to explore here. Outdoor dining has around eight seat capacity.

It's Greek To Me, 36 East Palisade Avenue, 201-568-0440: You can find greek inspired dishes like tzaziki, dolmates and melitzana at this place, with around 8 tables of outdoor dining available.

Fontana Di Trevi, 34 E Palisade Ave, 201-731-3184: On the menu of this Italian restaurant are dishes like ravioli stuffed with mushrooms, fettuccine Bolognese, chicken parmigiana, and veal scallopine in a lemon wine sauce. There are three tables of four and one for two outside. And, of course, don't forget the tiramisu for diner.
