Englewood Police Chief O'Keefe Planning Retirement

Englewood Police Chief Arthur O'Keefe has plans to retire at the end of this year according to a NorthJersey.com report. 

O'Keefe is a 41-year veteran of the department and has been chief since 2009.

According to the report the city's manager announced the chief plans to retire around Dec. 31.  

City officials have been aware a mandatory retirement is coming up for O'Keefe based on state guidelines which requires police officers to retire by age 65 which O'Keefe will turn next year, reported NorthJersey.com.
