ENGLEWOOD, NJ — The public school district has launched an app that keeps parents and students up to date on what's happening in their schools.

The app features school-specific information, and has sections for district news, upcoming events, important documents, and staff contact information.

The app will be updated regularly, officials said. It is available for iOS and Android-based devices.

"This app will allow us to meet our school community where they are and increase engagement which parents, which is critical to our success," said Superintendent Robert Kravitz. "It is important to the school board and myself that we are transparent and have a high level of communication with the public, and that we embrace new technologies."
