Englewood Schools In Top 20 For Bullying Cases, Numbers Show
New Jersey released its annual list of harassment, intimidation, and bullying cases in each school district.
ENGLEWOOD, NJ — The Englewood School District reported 62 harassment, intimidation, and bullying cases for the 2017-18 academic year, numbers recently released by the state show.
The 62 cases were the 16th most reported in New Jersey that year. The district averaged more than 20 cases per 1,000 students, which was the 31st highest amount out of 550 school districts in the state.
In Englewood Cliffs, two incidents were reported. The average was more than four incidents per 1,000 students, which was the 349th highest amount in the state.

Englewood On The Palisades Charter School reported no cases.
The state Department of Education has cautioned that these numbers are reported by each district, so each jurisdiction is responsible for reporting its results fairly and accurately.
