Englewood Students Learn How To Manage Stress And Be Happy

Dwight Morrow High School wanted to teach families and students skills to better empower them to deal with stressful situations.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — Dwight Morrow High School students and their families learned skills to better help them cope with stress and adversity at a special event called Life’s Good: Experience Happiness at the school Aug. 22.

LG Electronics spearheaded the nationwide back-to-school initiative. It was designed to engage the community on the best practices and skills to empower students in stressful situations.

There were stations about mindfulness, making human connections, gratitude, having a positive outlook, purpose and generosity.

The Englewood and Englewood Cliffs schools districts participated in the program last year. It is being extended this year so teachers can share daily lessons involving the same principles.
