Firehouse Subs Opening Englewood Location This Week

The company has donated millions of dollars to help support first-responders.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — A Firehouse Subs is opening in the city Saturday.

The restaurant will be at 41 West Palisade Ave. It will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

It will be the second Firehouse Subs franchise restaurant for Ilker Dinc. His other is located in Hackensack.

"This is a brand I really believe in, and I’m excited to be a part of its growth," Dinc said. "From our outstanding food to our welcoming customer service, we are bringing the brand’s values to Englewood with an emphasis on giving back to the community through Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which provides lifesaving equipment to first-responders."

Firehouse Subs serve meats and cheeses steamed on a toasted sub roll. In addition to subs, the restaurant will offer catering options, including sandwich and dessert platters to salads and snacks.

The restaurant will feature a mural of Englewood firefighters marching down Palisade Avenue in the city's annual Independence Day parade.

At least $1 million from sales this year will be donated to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The foundation has donated more than $44 million to public safety organizations since its founding.

There are more than 1,100 Firehouse Subs restaurants in 46 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
