Here's What The Average Englewood-Area School Administrator Makes

ENGLEWOOD/ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ —The state has released information showing how much school districts budgeted for the salaries of principals, superintendents, and administrators in 2019.

For the Englewood Public School District, the median salary is $139,602 the 82nd highest in New Jersey. The 4.85 percent salary increase ranked as the 126rd highest year-over-year change in New Jersey.

In Englewood Cliffs, the median salary is $120,133. The 7.59 percent decrease ranked as the 292nd highest year-over-year change.

The Englewood On The Palisades Charter School ranked No. 2 for the average salary is $171,495. Only Hudson County Vocational has a higher average. The 1.99 percent increase ranked as the 319th highest change.

The median statewide salary is $125,207, a 1 percent increase over 2018.

The information is part of the state Department of Education's Taxpayer's Guide to Education Spending, which shows the median salary for every New Jersey school district.

In addition to median salaries, the site also shows each district's total spending, average daily enrollment and students from sending districts, the per-pupil costs and the district's total budget spending for 2019.
