November Englewood Cliffs Council Election Result Center of New Lawsuit
Former Democratic candidates Melanie Simon and Nora Seoane-Jobson filed suit in Bergen County Superior Court over votes from the November '13 election that they find questionable.

Two months after the November general election, two women who unsuccessfully ran for seats of the Englewood Cliffs Council candidates are suing Bergen County elections officials over allegedly questionable votes, The Record reported.
Former Democratic candidates Melanie Simon and Nora Seoane-Jobson filed suit in Bergen County Superior Court on Dec. 23. They charge that 112 people received “undisclosed assistance” in mail-in voting and allege that about 20 other votes merit challenge.
Republicans Zhi “Philip” Liang and Nunzio Consalvo won the council seats thanks to mail-in and provisional ballots.
