01/30/2021, 5:00 a.m.
Wanted Person: P.O. Juan Rodriguez was operating his patrol vehicle on River Road when he observed two suspicious males looking into business windows and approached them on River Road near Lyons Avenue. William Speechly, age 40 of Paterson, was arrested after an arrest warrant was located out of Morris County. He was handed over to the Morris County Sheriff’s Department.

Shoplifting: P.O. Luis Vasquez, P.O. Peter Federico, P.O. Timothy Ammann & P.O. Anthony Burgos responded to the area of CVS Pharmacy, 29-00 Broadway, on a report of a shoplifter that had fled the store. Anthony Cole, age 40 of Pompton Lakes, was located with $424.64 in unpaid items on 26th Street near Berkshire Road and was arrested without incident. He was released after being charged with shoplifting.

Narcotics: P.O. Brad Pindyck, P.O. Brandon Loaiza, P.O. Robert Iozzia & Sgt. Kevin Wood responded to 7-Eleven, 31-28 Broadway, on an unwanted person inside the store. Oscar Blanco, age 38 of Queens, NY, was located on Broadway at 30th Street and was arrested after an arrest warrant was found out of Cliffside Park for $500. After transport to police headquarters, marijuana was discovered inside of his property. He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, then handed over to Cliffside Park Police.
