Classic Charlie Chaplin Film Showing
Temple Emanuel in Franklin Lakes to host free film July 17.
Comic actor Charlie Chaplin’s renowned film “The Gold Rush” will be screened at Temple Emanuel of North Jersey on Sunday afternoon, July 17, at 2 p.m. A romp through the wilds of Alaska, this film kept the original 1925 silent film audiences on the edge of their seats! A 1942 re-issue, in which Chaplin speaks the text, will be shown in the July 17 program. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
