Company Hiring 1,500 Employees In Saddle Brook Area
With the holiday season fast approaching, UPS is looking to hire 1,500 seasonal and long-term employees.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ — As holiday season approaches and online shopping spikes, UPS is looking to hire 1,500 seasonal and long-term employees in Parsippany and Saddle Brook.
The company is looking for employees to help off-set the increase in packages that begins in November and lasts through January. They're adding employees in the following positions, both full- and part-time:
- 610 part-time package handlers
- 125 full-time delivery drivers
- 80 tractor-trailer drivers
- 750 driver-helpers
Tractor-trailer drivers start at $34.45 an hour; package handlers and driver-helpers star at $10.20 an hour.

Seasonal employees have been known to stay on past their initial contact period with UPS, with 35 percent of season employees continuing after the busy season ends.
“Our seasonal jobs often lead to permanent employment and even careers for some,” said CEO David Abney. “We offer flexible shifts and full- and part-time positions. If you are a student, a working mom or just looking to make extra money for the holidays, we have a job for you.”

Permanent jobs (including part-time permanent positions) come with healthcare, retirement and tuition benefits.
Their Parsippany location is located at 779 Jefferson Road, Parsippany. The Saddle Brook center is located at 280 North Midland Ave, Saddle Brook.
