Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook schools will be closed Friday due to the snow storm, officials from both districts announced Thursday evening.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning lasting until 1 p.m. Friday, with 5 to 9 inches of snow predicted.
Gov. Chris Christie declared a State of Emergency and all non-essential state and county employees were told to stay home Friday.
Recycling pick-up in Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook scheduled for Friday was moved to Saturday.
