Happy Mother's Day To Elena Schaeffer

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 12, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Kristen Dondero's letter to her mom:

My mother! She is not only my best friend, she is my rock, my support, she keeps our family strong. She also is the best grandmother to my son. Their bond is so thick, it's beautiful!

I'm blessed to have a mom like you and I am blessed to share each day with you. I hope this Mother's Day you know how much you are loved and what a diamond you are to us all! I am the mother I am because of you. Your strength has helped me through my darkest of days.

We love you to the moon and back!
