Lt. Gov. Guadagno to Swear In Fair Lawn Officials

The Fair Lawn Council's reorganization meeting starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the municipal building.

Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno will visit Fair Lawn Tuesday for the borough council's annual reorganization meeting, Mayor John Cosgrove said.

Guadagno will swear in the 2014 mayor and deputy mayors after new council members Dan Dunay and Amy Lefkowitz take their oaths of office.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the municipal building.

Cosgrove will likely remain the mayor this year as the Republicans maintained the majority of council seats in the November election and both Dunay and Lefkowitz pledged to keep Cosgrove as mayor if they won.

Officials will also appoint the borough professionals and numerous members of municipal boards and commissions during the meeting. The agenda is available here.
